Detroit is considering bulldozing homes because people have left the city.?

Is that the result of incompetent liberal socialist government and excessive union demands on companies? Or is Detroit's massive failure Bush's fault, too?

Detroit has been dominated by democrats for decades. They have an all-black city council, they're dominated by unions, and only 30% of adults can read.

Detroit has been a failure since the 1970's at least. I don't blame them for bulldozing the blight. Ghetto-istan isn't very pretty and it snowballs into even more Ghetto-istan.

It's a result of thirty years of Reaganomics war on the middle class and destruction of unions, and shipping our jobs overseas to benefit corporations, to where people couldn't afford to buy cars. Thanks for asking. ##

to say it's the "liberal socialists" is ridiculous and ignorant. the auto companies were very poorly run for decades, and just recently they've begun to see the light. couple that with the trend towards outsourcing manufacturing jobs, and this was going to happen to detroit no matter what just as it has happened in...
