Does a medical secretary's job description include making coffee and picking up dry cleaning?

What do medical secretaries do? Are they required to do grunt work for the doctor, such as picking up dry cleaning, making coffee, and just generally being a flunky? Or do they do real work? Just wondering.

No and you should make that quite clear. If he asks for you to pick up his dry cleaning, your respond "Sure as soon as you wash my car" As for the coffee, if you drink it then make it. As I do not drink coffee I always stated No

Probably not. You may have to make coffee but I dont think they would ever make you pick up their dry cleaning. You mostly do office related work only.
