How to get a job in a Call Center?

How do I get a job in a call center (e.g Austar, Vodafone etc.) taking inbound calls? I have worked in retail as a store assistant for nearly a year and thats about all the customer service experience I have. How do I go about it?

Most companies allow you to apply online. If they have available positions they may have them posted but they will often let you submit a resume anyway. As the others have said, most call centers are always recruiting due to the turnover of staff in large departments like that... More

recrutiment ageinces usually get you jobs there, but if you want a job with Austar or vodafone in a inbound call centre, id move to india or egypt. Why do you want to work in a call centre its shit

those places are always looking for people because no one stays long. i worked at one for almost a year and the cubes next to me changed people like 9 times. just walk in, ask for a application, do the training, pass the tests and you're in. when you hate it enough, quit.

you need to know the responsibility of call center job first. call center job requirement is the ability to multitask.
