What are some good first jobs for kids at age 17?

What are some good first jobs for kids at age 17? Im looking for a job to do part time while i'm in high school. Im looking for more of retail jobs selling things in a mall or something or even just working in the back folding clothes! Does anyone have good ideas for jobs and have you had any good jobs in careers such as retail? all information will help! thank you!

Retail could be cool, but I started working as a hostess when I was 15 and a half and that was great because at restaurants, shifts are usually shorter than say if you were working in retail and if you're like me, you also get tips in addition to your salary. you could get a job in the mall at a clothing store, they usually hire alot of employees so your chances arent too bad. I would also try to make a extra cash online. You can take surveys and stuff thats real easy and make enough to hold you over....try jagersmoney.com to get some ideas. Good luck
