What other jobs do actors have beside acting?

I'm curious to know because I'm persuing acting and in college now and I wanted to know what professional jobs, besides acting, are flexible and pay good money. I'm getting my degree now and I already know about waiting tables, clubs, etc. The point of me going to college is so that I can avoid those jobs. I'm not trying to get rich either, I just want to live comfortably. What GOOD/PROFESSIONAL jobs could be flexible to my acting career?

One friend who has been a working actor in tv and film since age 12 is a real estate agent when he is not filming. When the economy was good, he made decent money but has had a really tough time for the past few years and is now renting out rooms in his house to help pay his mortgage.
