What do you think of Arizona's immigration law?

Even though i'm a republican i don't support Arizona's immigration law. I believe it constitutes discrimination. Here's what i would suggest. Only seek proof of citizenship of an african american or hispanic that commits a violent crime (like murder or child molesters, or sex offenders, rapist bank robbery etc). They don't need to stop every single african american or hispanic person and ask for proof of citizenship. I'm glad our Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger wouldn't do that, and i hope that whoever becomes our next governor wouldn't sign a law similar to Arizona's. Our country was founded by immigrants, why push them away when their ancestor founded are country. That doesn't sound like freedom to me. The last line from our national anthem is the land of the FREE and the home of the BRAVE. When politicians initiate discrimination of people like what Arizona did, there's no freedom. Remember not every illegal immigrant is a drug dealer some just want to have a better and safe life in america. Especially if they came from mexico where all the crimes are being commit (i admit some of the crimes have crossed into Arizona), but ou don't need to discriminate every single hispanic or african american just becauseof their skin colors. Nightwind, you're not getting the point NOT every illegal immigrant is a drug deal, or a murderer. Most of them want to escape mexico from the crimes there. Stop accusing every illegal immigrant of a crime! Dr. Wigglefarmer, it does constitute descrimination. What do you call stoping every african american or hispanic to seek proof of citizenship is? That's descrimination! California would never do that! Sylvia c, the law gives Arziona law gives law enforcement the right to be suspicious of every single african american or hispanic.
