Some of them did, some of them didn't. It's not like they all had the same job, or the same experiences, or the same personalities. I know that my grandmother kept the same job (she was a nurse) before, during, and after WWII.

Yes, because they knew they were doing their part to support the fight against the Axis powers. Women worked before WWII and worked after WWII, so don't fall for the man-haters lies when they falsely claim women didn't work until the lesbians started their unjust assault against men and western culture in the 60s.

they were working before the war and many became nurses when the war hit. others had extra responsibility when men went off to war.
