If you join the national guard in an admin position such as human resources, can you still be sent to war?

I saw some job openings for human resources for the national guard. I have experience in this field, but would they still send you to war if they needed you? Also, would the job most likely be overseas?

To simplify things: Yes... BUT..! You would not be sent to war, you would be sent to work in a war zone. Going to war is reserved for other people. You will either be sent to Balad Air Base or Baghram Air Base... neither of which can HONESTLY be considered a hostile zone.
