How to get into the "Sports Management" field for a career?
Hi all, My name is Daniel and I am a highschool student interested in business and sports. Because of this, I was wondering what kinda careers are in the field of "sports management". I'm not talking about stuff like becoming a GM (general manager) of the Yankees or anything, just what kind of management jobs are there for big sports franchises, how difficult they are to get into, and what education is needed. Also, if you have any good information about sports marketing jobs for big franchises as well, I would love to hear them. Thanks

There are some college that offer this as a major, however the field is SUPER competitive and jobs are almost nonexistent. At a minimum, a GM wanna-be should have an MBA.
