Is having a college degree plus military experience best way to get into Federal law enforcement?

I just graduated from college and have joined the Army. My ultimate goal is to land a job as a Special/Field Agent with a federal law enforcement agency. My bachelor's degree is in criminal justice and I'm hoping that combined with military experience I will be a good candidate for a federal law enforcement position. Can anyone, preferably someone with experience, or holding a federal law enforcement position provide me with any helpful information?

A Bachelor's degree is required for federal special agent positions (very few exceptions). A second Bachelor's degree is unlikely to make a big difference, the money and time would be better spent on graduate work. That's a good start, they like prior military and law enforcement degrees but also eye sight is another biggie for agents. See for more info. They have a list of federal positions with qualifications you need and what they prefer. Hope this provides the answers you need.
