How to deposit a check out of state?

My bank is TCF and I am from Chicago. I have recently moved down to Tucson, AZ for the summer and am in the process of getting a job. The closest TCF is like 90 miles away. How would I be able to deposit money and checks into my account, if there is no bank around? Can I do this from another bank? Or would I have to open up a new account at a local bank?

I bank at TCF too. I love TCF and didn't want to open a bank account with another bank when I moved out of state. We don't have TCF here... More

you can open a new account and then if you so wish wire the funds to your regular bank or just use the new bank. Or open a savings account at a new bank then when you move back close the account since you will have no out standing checks to worry about
