Is it okay to apply for multiple jobs?

I will be a senior in high school next year so I'm starting to apply for jobs. I only want one part-time job for next year, but was thinking of applying for several (at a restaurant, at CVS), in case I am not able to get hired for any one job. So I am wondering if it is okay to apply to multiple jobs. What if I am hired for more than one job? (I just need one job.) Thanks!

yeah apply for as many as you can, because chances are you wont be hired if you just apply at one place, just be sure to call after you turn in your application, and ask to talk to the manager, then ask if its a possibiltiy for you to get an interview, [it impresses them that you took enough time to ask about your...
