What kind of writer is it when you can write what ever, and how do I become one?

I am very interested in writing. A lot of the things I write are said to be inspiring. I love to write anything like poems, songs, stories, my personal views, etc. The only problem is that I CANNOT be stuck writing something im told to write about like most writers jobs are. Is there such thing as a freelance writer, or creative writer, and how do I become one? How do I gain income with it?

You have to find a good one that will offer you money for something you write. The better established the company, the harder to get in, the smaller the company, the less of a... More

you wouldn't really be able to get a sustainable income with just freelance writing to start with, you'd have to work part time as well somewhere, the main you'd need to do it writing short stories or poem collection, or novel that you can get published. If you become well known and popular enough, then you'd probably... More

To do that just write a book then send it to a publisher, the publisher will make copies of your book if they like it and you will get paid. Though you should probably consult someone before writing the book because I'm not entirely sure.

Well with Freelance Writing you can write whatever you want but it's very rare that one makes a comfortable income with it, most need another job to support them especially if they have a family. I want to write and sell my work in the future but I know I'm not going to make a living off it so I decided I would like to... More
