Insurance policy lost how to find.?
My father had a policy in my name so that I could handle his burial but he was in mass and I live in wv. When my fater died the case was in the hands of the people that he lived with and they refused to give me the policy and I don't know who the policy company is help.

Unfortunately there is no easy solution to your case. The only central database that would enable you to find out who he applied for coverage with--MIB (Medical Information Bureau) keeps track of all applications for life insurance policies including name of company and amount applied for. Are you the executor of his estate? If not, there is nothing you can do. But you don't have to worry about someone "intercepting" your money. The insurance company only EVER pays the beneficiary.
