What exactly is a retail keyholder?

I recently applied to Claire's as a sales associate, and interviewed for the 3rd keyholder position. Questions: 1) So the manager said that I would be responsible for opening/closing, taking the deposit to the bank, planograms etc. Is there anything else a keyholder does? 2) What's the pay like? 3) I've heard that keyholders are like mini managers without the benefits -- is that true? 4) Is the job fun? 5) What are the best/worst parts of the job? Thanks! And it there's anything else...let me know. I'm trying to find out all the info I can because I'm 99.9% sure that I'll get the job. I have to have a phone interview with the district manager, but as long as she gives the store manager the okay I'll have the job and start sometime this week. I've done plenty of retail before. I personally like it. I know all about planograms too.

You're not a manager over other employees, but usually you get scheduled the most because you either open or close. The job is a job and probably not as fun as you think it will be. You will either have to stay late or get up early. I hate planograms.
