Hard to say without knowing more about your courseload and class rank. Did you take some of the hardest courses at your high school? How is your class rank? If you are in the top 10% of your class, have taken the most rigorous courseload (or at least a somewhat rigorous courseload), and have at least a 650 on each... More

you may get in if you play the ethnicity card, but for brown a 3.7 is not that impressive sorry! i have a 4.0 and 4.4 and i was waitlisted... i would start studying asap for the sats, and maybe get involved in more activities. try to pick something that will make you stand out good luck!!! :)

with a 3.7 Brown will probably not accept you, but write a killer essay and play up the ethnicity and you may work your way in.

I definitely feel like you have a good shot. What are your SAT scores? I know for a fact that Brown is very different when it comes to admissions. You just have to be able to show your personality in all your essays and try to stand out. Thats most important. I got in and my SAT scores were well below average
