What kind of job can you get after working for the United Nations?

Let's say you worked at the UN war crime tribunal as a broadcasting director for a year and you're interested in working for a large news organization like CNN or the BBC as a producer or director. Is that a big asset if you ever apply?

It would be an asset as you would need to be fluent in both English and French at a minimum, with preferably fluency or proficiency in at least 1-2 other languages. English and French is a requirement for ALL regular UN jobs, and 2 other languages make you more competitive (Spanish being helpful, and probably Arabic... More

After working in the UN, your possibilities are endless. You can become a corrupt politician, because you already know how to lie. Perhaps a thief, because you know how to steal. Or maybe even a lawyer, because you have learned how to lie, and get away with it all.

That depends on your qualifications and experience really. From what you say though, yes, your experience probably would be an asset.
