How do I stop my neighbors cats using my mulch as a bathroom and other places and things?

Why are my neighbors cats allowed to roam free, going to the bathroom everywhere, like my mulch and they scratch my screens, And I find two of them sleeping in my yard. I do not want cats... I think it is unfair that I have to clean up after them as they roam freely and are under NO CONTROL. I will deal with rodents if it happens it's not my neighbor's cats job. In the olden days maybe, now NO.

I'm trying to think of a way in which you and your neighbors could sort this out poetically. It's not good or safe for cats to roam free. There are many, many reasons why to keep them indoors. Maybe you could do some research and make up a flyer that you could pass out to your neighbors that would give them more reason... More

Depending where you live there are probably laws against having free-roaming pets. I would call animal services and let them talk to your neighbors for you. It is not fair that you have to deal with their animals, you did not make a decision to get a pet... they did... More

Ha, ha, ha! I laugh with you! I had researched this out several years back and finally gave up. One thing I do remember though is to put a screen/chicken wire type of a deal over your mulch. They can't dig so they won't use it. I never tried it but always wondered if it would work. The "cat away" sprinkles did... More

Call animal control, cats do not need to be feral,a house cat can wreak havoc with the small animals & birds in your area.A cat unlike a dog is a killing machine.

well you have multiple weapons at your disposal. you could use a car, a gun, a shovel, a hammer, a lawn mower, an axe, or even just brute force. cause you will never get that cat to stop and the only way to do it is to kill the little b*****d. so good luck and happy hunting
