What is the true connection between the KJV Bible and the Textus Receptus?

The Textus Receptus [TR] was NOT translated from the earliest available manuscripts [MSS] of ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, and Koine Greek. The TR had many errors, and new errors were introduced as it was revised, yet it was a source of the KJV Bible.

The point behind the King James Version was not to have an accurate translation. It was to have a version that sounded majestic - accuracy took second place to poetry, and much of it was antiquated language even at the time it was written - and to support the divine right of the King to rule.
