How do you compare Rudy Giuliani's handling of the post 911 situation to 0bama's bungling the Gulf spill?

Hi there Jimmbo. It's very hard to compare the two. Rudy was PERSONALLY involved as a New Yorker. It was almost like managing an enormous "family crises" . It took a superhuman effort to be a strong leader when he himself was so emotionally attatched... More

President Obama has not "bungled" his handling of the BP oil spill. He has very little control over the operation/cleanup. What do you want him to do... swim down 15 minutes and plug the hole himself?

The two events have very little in common other than the fact that they are both disasters. What you fail to realize is that nobody can do much about a disaster 1 mile below the sea quickly.

Two words come to mind, chalk and cheese. Everyone seems to defend Obama, yet when Jindal asked for Federal funding to make sand banks to prevent the oil from coming ashore there was a deafening silence from the White House and then they said he could build 6 when 24 were requested. Obama bungled big time.

What did Giuliani really do anything about 9/11? I mean seriously... all he did was talk about it non-stop. He didn't stop the planes from crashing and the fire department and the hospitals already knew what to do in a crisis situation... More

Who is "0bama"? There is only an Obama, not "0bama", whose name begins with the digit "0".

Giuliani was a lame duck mayor who was looking for a reason to write a book. For him it was like hitting the lottery. If you remember he was hated in NY just before that and was having to answer to infidelity charges and was getting divorced. So, yeah he reacted as anyone would who just received the gift of a lifetime... More

Obama hasn't really bungled BP's spill in the Gulf despite what conservatives have been saying from day 1. He also hasn't hired a criminal like Bernard Kerik to handle important business, or provided him with a love nest on taxpayer dollars where he could have sex with mistresses. Obama didn't get warned that the... More

One was front & center of the effort from DAY1 ,without much time for golf & photo ops that were earlier in his administration used for political gain by the press, for the Dem's. The clean up effort began with volunteer expertise being appreciated & unencumbered with the permit process in his jurisdiction. The debris... More

After 9/11, Rudy became "America's Mayor" With the continuing Gulf oil disaster, Obongo is becoming America's NIGHTMARE! Maybe if the Lame stream media had intensionally mis-spelled Gulf as GOLF...Obama would have become INTERESTED in it???LOL

That's an unfair comparison. Rudy always knows what he's doing.

Lets get to the real comparison. Bush and Katrina vs. 0bama and the Oil Spill. The Democrats bashed Bush (and still are) for his "perceived" inaction after Katrina. 0bama's people are in lock step with the "from day one" story line. They say that because the Coast Guard was there soon after the explosion that... More

Rudy Giuliani was on the scene when 9-11 took place and he remained there; working and helping in every way possible. He knew many who lost their lives and was someone who has always had the best interests of NYC and of our Nation in mind. He made so many changes to NYC for the better when he was in charge there. No... More
