where are the nicest places to live in the west LA region of California?

I'm looking at moving to that area with my job, but just out of curiosity where are some really nice places? Lets not worry about price, but do list if it is an extremely expensive place. Thanks.

Nicest = extremely expensive Santa Monica, North of Montana Pacific Palisades, north of Sunset Westwood (LA 90024), north of Sunset Brentwood (LA 90049), near the Riviera and Brentwood country clubs Malibu Colony Bel Air - Holmby Hills
