Is there such thing as a "prefect world"?

No matter how perfect you make something, the human race will not be satisfied, and will try to make it better. What's wrong with us? Do you guys agree? Disagree? Opinions?

There is "relative perfection". That is perfection for the time, place, people involved and the situation. For example on an inspection, your store, office or group rates 100%. Then someone else comes in that same day and finds fault with what you have done or conditions. According to the inspection, it was perfect... More

I disagree completely. There is no such thing as a perfect world in my view. I think we should be happy with what we have even if it has flaws

You can't make everyone happy. But, if I had my own little world, I know just what I would do to make it perfect.

William James called it, "The More." People always want more. Human nature. Go figure.

Okay here goes, since No One on the planet is perfect, if you were to meet a "perfect" person than that person would be flawed because they are not like any human at all and therefore that makes them IMperfect! Now to answer your question multiply my answer by the number of people on the planet.

This world will never be perfect. Heaven will be perfect.

Even if a perfect world did exist, it wouldn't be perfect. Flaws are beautiful the same way perfection is. It's like comparing two pieces of art. Like compare Da Vinci compared to Picasso, Picasso expresses strong emotion, and Da Vinci shows beauty, not emotion. They're both beautiful artists (their art, I don't like... More

No. Nothing will ever be perfect. What's wrong with us is that we're so preoccupied with making everything perfect that we never pause to realize the beauty in life.

Since this world is not permanent in nature , there can be no satisfaction. Even if we have , experience what we desire it will disappear sooner or later
Answered By: gorminolo - 6/10/2010
I do not believe in perfection nothing is perfect and i mean nothing.
Answered By: Explotaro - 6/10/2010
I disagree somewhat, but you are on to something. If it is perfect, by definition it does not need improvement. Humans can never make a perfect world, but we are able to improve physical conditions, extend our lives, etc. However, the more of our environment and circumstances we are able to control, the less tolerant... Is there a perfect world? Perhaps, but not this one. Will this world ever be perfect? We are promised it will be when mankind learns to live together in love and understanding.
