Why does the brilliant Obama not understand that extreme taxes on energy will RAISE prices on EVERYTHING in US?

Does he not understand this? Does he not understand that the price of everything will go up.. food, clothes, goods... That this will bleed even more well paying manufacturing and transportation jobs away... However, he is probably going to push through a massive increase in welfare payments so that his primary voting block, the useless inner-city ghetto Blacks, will not be inconvenienced. What is Obama's DEFECT?

Of course he knows that will happen. But, why would anybody think Obama cares about hurting Americans?

He is not stupid and of course he understands this. But who fvcking cares -- I don't pay for it anyways. Just embrace change and enjoy helping others become equal. Say no to racism and embrace change.

He understands this very well. But the USA can not continue to sponge off the rest of the world and its limited resources. Americans have done very well out this uneven sutuiation so far. Now they will have to start paying the real price for their excesses.

He knows that already. What extreme taxes on energy are you talking about? In the USA oil companies were given tax subsidies even-though they have had record breaking profits since the 'war on terror' started.

The point is they will also increase incentives to use less of the stuff made from oil, use less fuel, and most important, increase incentive to INVENT SOMETHING BETTER, because if we don't we're going to have to face a lot worse when the oil finally runs out. That could actually happen pretty soon.

But the left will still be able to say "He didn't raise taxes" Though I think I'd rather pay a few bucks in extra taxes than dollars on EVERYTHING I buy or use. And then the crying starts about those Greedy companies out sourcing jobs and hurting the economy.
