Will my forearm tattoo affect me negatively at my new corporate job?
I just got a job at State Farm Insurance (big corporate America) and their dress code is casual. I have a 7" tattoo on my forearm of a crucifix. I'll wear long sleeves when I first start for a year or so then I'll likely expose it. So you think this tattoo will hurt my career?

My advice would be to hide your tattoo until you are well established at the business. Then, politely ask what your company's tattoo policy is. Make your decision based upon what the higher ups tell you.

State Farm is a fairly conservative company, I would imagine that you will need to keep it covered while working there despite their casual work environment.
