Should I buy a car or a bike before I get a job?
I have been living in Australia for 2 months, my partner has a job here that pays well. I have been stuck at home for these past two months and it's very boring, I am thinking of getting a job. But me and my partner do not own a car or a bike and the towns about 15 minutes away from where I live, if I walk. Should I buy a bike or a car?

If you have the needed cash to do the purchase and all the expenses that go with it like registration and insurance and petrol, sure. If not, don't.

if you two can afford to buy a vehicle === my choice would be to get a car ...... you are much safer in a car and drier when it rains ......... and you arrive at work still fresh from the morning shower and the clothes look better .... being stuck at home is not fun .... the car will make it easier for going to work...
