How long should a resume be for a computer professional?

Would recruiters prefer to view a one page resume or more? I know they have alot to view daily. I am not applying for a business manager position, but just as a systems administrator. Im also looking for a strong short objective. My objective should say something about me wanting the opportunity to gain some work experience as a systems administrator because i recently advanced as a pc support professional by earning my certification. Points to anyone who can offer best help.
