Do you find it irritating when you enter a charity shop to find no assistant at the counter?

You enter a charity shop, hoping to find some interesting items at a fair price. Just as you're deciding to buy something, you look at the counter and see there is no assistant behind the till. Maybe they're out in the backroom sorting out stock, filling up shelves on the shop floor or just generally hovering around, but they're not there at the counter. You know they're probably unpaid volunteers, but do you feel a pang of irritation?

No, not at all - cuz I understand that these types of shops don't make much money and that's why they can sell me their cools stuff cheap. I don't feel irritated - just the opposite - I feel bad that they can't afford more help.
