Technician did bad job inserting needle in vein and I have a bruise. Can the vein restore itself?
I had a little bit of blood drawn for a fasting glucose test Friday morning. It hurt as bad as most shots, and soon after I had a dark bruise and a little swelling. Bruise has spread a bit but is still very dark purple. Will this lead to scar tissue and future difficulty drawing blood from the vein, or should it all recover like it was? I do blood donations so I need good veins.
