How can I make my resume look better?

I'm not real good with words. I have been looking for work after moving to Memphis, TN and I keep striking out. I thought if I had a better resume I might have a better chance. So if anybody has any suggestions I will be very greatful. EMPLOYMENT HISTORY: Tuesday Morning January 2010 to May 2010 Birmingham, AL Assistant Manager Responsible for doing paperwork, planning the schedules for the employees, and entering the payroll. I also organized the store, stocked, and worked the cash register. N.C. Trevino Construction, Inc. December 2009 to January 2010 Birmingham, AL Construction Labor Responsible for doing repairs or building in customer’s homes or in businesses. Doing everything from ceiling tile, painting, roofing, ceramic tile, and concrete. AT&T October 2008 to October 2009 Hoover, AL Premises Tech ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Supervisor for Client Logic, Safety Team Leader at Weyerhaeuser, Team Leader for NC Trevino Construction, First Assistant manger job with Tuesday Morning

Yeah you need some help. First of all you only mention NC Trevino and Tuesday Morning but then under accomplishments you have "Client Logic" as a Supervisor and Team Leader at "Weyerhaeuser". What is that about & where is that history in your employment section? Also having jobs is not an accomplishment so that word... More

Do what I did.. Lie through you teeth ang get older friends to act as referees . nobody ever checks properly

Go to the library and find some resume books. Copy the parts you like and put it on yours. I've done it for years.
