Careers after Army EOD?
i want to join the army and go into EOD(and hopefully pass) would go navy EOD but im not a water person i was worried however, that i wont have a career after the army i like your style Aslan(its mine now) but you know sides the obvious bomb squad what else

Contrary to what some seem to think, most EOD techs do not get out and go to work for Police Departments. Very few departments recruit directly for hazardous devices techs (civilian techs,) those that do will put more stock into a 4 week HDS course than they will the 10 month EOD course. join the police, tell punks you were in the army fighting for their freedom. Than proceed to bring out mr.nightstick and show those kids a good time. quit job and then go back to army. It also doesn't have to be the police you could check for private companies.

As Aslan so eloquently put it, you would probably qualify for a job in the police bomb units. EOD is certainly a unique set of skills.
