How hard is it to get a job in fast food?

I'm 19 with no work experience. I tried to apply at several retail stores but didn't hear anything back. Is it hard to even get a fast food job in this economy? I'm considering applying at Del Taco, Taco Bell, Jack in the Box etc.

Like any job, nobody will be able to know until you fill out an applicatin and call back. When you get the application, ask for the manager's name, and then call them after a few days when you submit it to the manager.

Fast food is one of the fastest and easiest jobs to get. The job itself might not be easy, but it is fairly easy to acquire these jobs.
