what can i do about black mold at work when the store mamager says he wont do anything about it?
there is black mold growing in the grooming department at my work petsmart. the store manager says he wont do anything about it because it would cost too much, it is a health hazard for us groomers and the dogs we groom what can i do about it without losing my job? can i call OSHA and be annonimous without anyone knowing it was me?

You can also send an email to corporate, anonymously if you want, and it will trickle down and someone, most likely a district person, will/should come to check it out that's higher than the store manager. you can call OSHA(Occupational Safety and Hazard Administration) and tell them that the manager is refusing to get it cleaned. they will then come in and investigate. if it is hazardous your manager will be fined and more then likly lose his job

Calling OSHA anonymously is a good idea. There may be a state or county agency to call that will respond more quickly than a federal agency. Meanwhile, you might get a spray cleaner with bleach. Spray whatever you can see every couple of days. Don't scrub or touch it, just spray and let it dry.
