There is a great deal of ancient literature written in Latin. Knowing Latin could help you read that literature without relying on a translator. Also it could help with the study of Medicine and Law.

it's the root of english. it'll help you on your sat scores and if you decide to pursue a major or a career in studying romance languages/literature it'll be helpful.

Latin in is very important for doctors because most medical root words are in latin. Ex. Derm- skin- dermatology-study and treatment of skin diseases

Ancient textuals are often seen written in Latin, and many of the scientific names for species on our planets are latin such as dog is canis lupus.
