Why are people so against having to come to America and actually having to work for citizenship?

I keep seeing people disliking answers that people give, like actually applying for citizenship! Whats wrong with that?? All Americans are immigrants but we worked hard to become part of this country! So please tell me what the problem is with not breaking the law?

Becca, this is a smart question. The answer is: liberals and Democrats are lazy. They don't want to work. That's why they like welfare, unemployment, unions, etc. It's all easy easy easy. Hard working people are conservatives.

People aren't against it. Mexicans are. We're not all immigrants, however. We just have ancestors who were.

Very good question. What is wrong with just following the law?

Becca, the reason why people come to the US illegally is that it is almost impossible for someone without formal training to enter legally.
