How do I get detailed reviews on daycares?

I'm an expected father of twins and have no choice but to use daycare to watch my newborns while my wife and I work. As new parents we are very concerned on where we place the babies. I've been calling local centers and asking the standard questions. But how do I verify these places are safe, comply with state regulations, etc? Is there a website and/or organization that can give me reviews? I'm located in Hudson County NJ.

There's a few things you can do, first of all I'll post a link below to the New Jersey child care compliance website. Don't bother with daycare at all. One of you should stay home. Even if it means living in a tiny 2-bedroom apartment with one or no car. Children are more important than a house and a pool. They should be raised by their parents, not strangers.
