Could I get into Georgetown University?

I am going into my Junior year of high school at a Catholic school. I currently have a 4.2 GPA and I will be taking 2 AP classes (History & French) and every other class will be honors level (including Anatomy & Physiology). I have taken the PSAT's and scored a 1770 and I took the PLAN (practice ACT) and scored a 27. I will soon be volunteering regularly at my local hospital. I currently have not had a job, but will be looking into getting one soon. I am assistant editor for my school yearbook (I will be editor-in-chief senior year), I am involved in Student Council, I am a member of Model U.N., and I am a writer for my school newspaper. I am interested in medicine, languages, and international affairs. Georgetown University is my dream school and I would really like to get in. Do you think I could based on my information? Also, do you know of any other well-known colleges I could get into based on my information? Thank you.

your rank needs to be high and you really need to boost those test scores. ACT should be 31+ and SAT needs to be 2100+. if you don't have either of those (or if your rank isn't top 20), then no way.

Your school involvement is always going to aid you in giving you an edge on some of the other students. My only advice is that you might want to try and... More
