Disappearing eye in Rabbits?

My doe had a fairly sick litter, and I've done a pretty bad job keeping them healthy. So please, I know I'm stupid here. When the litter was two weeks old, one of my rabbits looked like his eye won't open. So, I used warm washcloths and cleaned his eye for a few days, and after a week it went away. So when another bunny started to not open its eye, I assumed it would be fine, and just used warm washcloths with him too. However, it didn't get any better, it got absolutely terrible, so it looks like his eye has completely scabbed over. I have been using eye drops (which an eye doctor told me to use) and it has kept his other eye from getting it. However, it still looks like he only has one eye, and it almost looks like he is getting an abscess right above it. He is about five weeks old, and has had this for about two weeks. He is eating healthy and acting normally. It is totally my fault for not taking him to the vet sooner, and he will be going there tomorrow, but what can I expect for treatment? Any guesses on whether he will be able to see again?

The first thing that I think about in your rabbit is a Treponema infection. Treponema is a spirochete bacteria. This infection is also known as 'rabbit syphillis" The signs are ulcers that progress to crusty scabs around the genitalia, lips and eyelids (it doesn't have to be all of them).
