Which brand notebook/laptop would you buy?
Between the brands listed below which would you purchase from Please list a reason why or why not you would buy a brand. MSI, Lenovo, Asus, HP, Dell, Sony, Toshiba, Sager, Falcon Northwest, Acer, Ben Q, Medion, Averatec, Fujitsu, LG If the laptops all cost the same price lets say $1000 which would you pick. Only talk about brands listed do not changed the subject or try to get off topic by talking about another brand.

I would choose Gateway. they have top quality hardware for very low prices

Since you mentioned same price, i suggest you go for Sony, i have a sister who has that brand and so far so good no complications encountered.

I wouldn't use Asus. I would use Dell. Which is what I use. The one I have is only $278 which is WAY under $1000.

Toshiba. I have owned one for close to 2 years now. It has Vista and I still love it. I even had a couple of issues with it under warranty. First time took it to a local authorized repair place. Fixed it right up in less than a week. The company was literally 10 minutes from home. Second time I sent it back to Toshiba... More

you buy what u get with dell. Sony, and Gateway are the best. by the way, ACER corp owns gateway, its not 2 different companies. Apple is the best for 1000 but you dont list it, so I wont say anything.
