What are some of your ideas to pull America out of its Economic crisis?

What I would do:
1. Legalize Gay Marriage (because all marriages cost lots of money wether they be gay or straight)
2. Legalize Marijuana for Sale, keep it regulated (ask for I.D., etc.)
3. Legalize Prostitution, moderate it (like the porn industry) to keep it safe and put much less money in criminals since a majority of all prostitution is to fund criminal and gang-related activities
4. Get all soldiers back to the U.S., get them working and spending (let the "terrorists" do as they like in their own country)
5. Fix energy problem (stop off-shore drilling; build more solar panels, windmills, etc.)
6. Increase taxes of upper-middle class and above, decrease taxes of lower-middle class and below
7. Stop printing as much money
8. Stop printing "In God We Trust" on the dollar
9. Tax all places of religious worship
10. Remove all bans of abortion and stem-cell research
11. Put less funding in space projects
12. Not try to bail out miserably failing companies.

With more money in circulation, the national debt will be gone very soon.

Keep in mind, I'm far from an expert when it comes to economics, but what I do know about economics is that by doing these things the debt will decrease greatly.

Your ideas?
Printing "In God We Trust" is a violation of the seperation of church and state, and also uses ink. Ink costs money and printing "In God We Trust" uses a fraction of a pennies worth of ink. Over time that builds up and with as much money as we're printing currently, that only adds to the national defecit. Getting rid of it would be a very intelligent idea, no?

1. Stop it with the stimulus packages, we've tried three, two of them huge, and only created 20,000 jobs.
2. Convert everyone who works at BP into alterntive fuel.
3. Okay, since the invention of the lightbulb, we have known how to make lightbulbs last forever, STOP scamming us and give EVERYONE PERMANENT LIGHT.
4. Stop buying everything from other countries...
5. Do we really need more allies? I mean, Iraq was revenge, but Afghanistan is just camping...
6. MORE funding in space projects. Create jobs and interest kids in engineering.

Cut all taxes for everybody. The more money everybody has, the more they will spend. Problem solved!

I only disagree with 4, as it will most likely take years, unless you mean gradually.

I'm sorry, what does printing "in god we trust" on the dollar have to do with improving the economy? Also, cannabis will never be legalized unfortunately, the big pharma companies can't patent a plant, so they and the owners of private prisons will keep lobbying against it. And prostitution? Sorry but you can't really tax a v****a. And if all of the troops came back now, we wouldn't have access to the caspian oil reserves and the price of gas would double.

Pretty much Obama's stance, except for #12. I find a few of them a bit naive in thinking. What has "In God We Trust" got to do with the economy? Blindly, bringing the soldiers back without finalizing them would make things worse (we are the enemy to them and our success in our economy would piss them off). Increase the taxes of the ones who are capable of building the economy, yeah smart. Finally, I have yet to see a car powered by a windmill or solar panel. You cannot haul the groceries without the gasoline.
So I will continue to ask that we streamline the gov't and require them to stay in budget with only emergency votes to increase spending for....guess what, EMERGENCIES. Get rid of congress pensions and let them work in the real world for that. Finish the wars and withdraw responsibly. Find ways to regulate and drill responsibly. Improve Nuclear, Hydrogen, Solar and Wind Technologies. Understand that it take all technologies, not one or the other. Remove the Estate Tax permantly. Create the FairTax.

What celebrities do you think have become favorite punching bags by the press and the general audience? For instance, I notice there is a lot of hostility towards Justin Bieber here on the Polls & Survey section. I don't listen to his music. Do you think the anger is fair minded and has the celebrity deserved the negative feedback he is getting? Or is the anger misdirected?

And how many different types of plumbing jobs are there? Do you have to be really smart to be a plumber? How long does it take to become a plumber? I would really like it if I could get some honest answers from some actual plumbers. None of the categories were relevant to my question, so I asked on polls and surveys.
