Get some plastic baskets and using a marker number them. All washing in basket goes back to the resident it belongs to.

You could have all the garments marked with name tapes like we used to have to do at school. They iron on these days instead of having to be sewn, which took ages.

Ask your manager (on housekeeping/laundry) for some marker pens for in the laundry and in the nurses office for labelling. A fine permanent marker is the best except for dark labels. I carry a black '''STABILO OHPen universal F''' in my bag which is great for fabrics or timesheets. You can get this pen at Rymans.
