how easy is it to get a green card through a job?

I have a friend living abroad who would like to come to the US to work. They are trained as a nurse, but of course don't have a nursing license yet. And how would they go about finding an employer to sponsor them?

It is difficult for the employer. And right now may not be the best time to look, but go on the internet and try or something.

Your employer must really like you. You have to be a very good suck-up to get a green card through a job.
