Can I be an environmental engineer even though I'm not good in math?

Okay so I've been doing a lot of research on environmental careers and I read about environmental engineering and it sounds like something I'd want to do. I know that it requires a strong math background, but I'm not that good at math. I'm just scared of trying and failing and in the process wasting a bunch of time and money for school.
