Is it possible to be an architect if you hate math?

Can I be an architect if I hate math? Also.can I earn my Bachelors in something Urban Studies..and then just go back for 2 years and complete an architects degree?

drip is right, actually. Architecture uses a lot of spatial creativity, imagination, and hands on work, but there are definitely still technical aspects to the actual PRACTICE of architecture. Maybe you should intern at an Architects office to get a feel of the math they need. If you hate math, you're job will be hard. As far as the degree plans, if your bachelors degree has nothing to do with an Architects degree, then you will still have to take the primary classes of architecture as a grad student... More

are you in the US? For a Bachelor or Masters degree in architect you are going to have to take math. How the heck can you design a building or a landscape with out math?
