if I have a tax identification number , can I use it for my independent contractor job and pay tax myself ?
if I have a tax identification number , can I provide it for use for my independent 1099 contractor job ..? because I don't have social security , I have lot of potential in the states, I don't have money and I need something to do ... I can work as contractant ... would it be considered illegal if I pay my tax normally ?

Sorry but if you don't have an SSN you cannot legally work in the US, either as an employee or self-employed. If you had a visa that permitted you to work (even with restrictions such as an H1B) you would have been given an SSN... More
