I am at crossroads and I don't have a clue what to do?

I'm 20 years old and I can't move out. This isn't one of those post where a bratty little kid says he hates his parents or anything, but just hear me out. I have no social life, not because i'm weird or anything, but because my parents won't let me do anything. It was the same in high school, my parents never let me go out with friends ( i mean never, not once, i have never even seen a movie with my friends). I wasnt allowed to play sports or do plays or anything. They got me a car my senior year, which broke down and then they bought me a brand new cobalt which i don't use much because i can't go anywhere. The reason they never let me out of the house was not something sadistic but because they thought school should be my only priority. I gave up on high school and thought that i would be fine in college, but i didnt get into the college i wanted to go to. I got into bryant University and umass lowell, somehow my dad convinced me to go the umass lowell instead of bryant and i dont even live there i commute. I'm starting my third year in the fall and I hate it. I don't want to be in college anymore, I'm really bitter towards school because that is the reason i was not allowed to do anything and its not like i did bad in school either. I ended high school with a B avg and i have a 3.4 gpa at umass right now and i've made the deans list every semester. i've been expressing my problems with them and everyone else in my family for the past 6 years but nobody gives any good advice. In july i even moved out only to feel guilty about leaving and coming back a couple days later. they said they would listen to me, but a week later they told me to forget my dreams for the next two years and then i could do whatever i want. I want to be an actor ( i understand the probablities and everything, I've wanted to do this for many years now and I've done extensive research on it). I'm honestly starting to give up on having a social life or anything i just want to be an actor. my parents say 2 more years but they don't understand that its 2 more years of my life, 2 more years of just sitting and wishing, 2 more years of being unhappy and most importantly its 2 more years of my youth. They say 2 years, but in high school they said college so now im thinking they're going to say after i get married or something once i finish college. and when i say that i hate school i really mean that i hate school. If i do finish college for my own pride i will not go to graduation and for my own pride i will try my hardest never to use that degree. I love my parents and I know they don't have bad intentions, they have given me so much over the years but all i want is for them to let go. oh yea they believe in astrology and crap and according to a bunch of charts from how the planets were aligned when i was born it says that I will never make it in the entertainment industry. they told me this before i even told them i wanted to be an actor, i don't know what that says about me or my parents but i just thought i'd put it out there. its not like i will listen to it, but i guess it'll always be in the back of my mind.

Okay...let me perfectly frank, and brutal here! You are 20 years old, not 12! Put on your big boy underwear and tell them that you resent being treated like you are 12! You don't have to unreasonable with them, but make them understand that you are an adult, and even though you live with them, you still have some... More
