What happens if a paramedic gets in a wreck in their personal vehicle?

Friend is a paramedic and got in a wreck on his day off, in his personal vehicle, and it was his fault because he ran a red light. What will happen to him at work?

It depends on the company's insurance policy and how strict they are. They could make him a non-driver or they could fire him. Totally depends on the insurance and company policy... More

I don't see how anything would happen to him. Though it might make the company's rates go up when they run the yearly check and find the accident.

If this is his only violation, nothing. But if he has other driving violations, it could jeapordize his job.
