With my situation, what are the possible ways to stay in the US?

I am a China citizen holding China passport, but have been staying in Singapore for 12 years and have already received Singapore Permanent Resident status. Now I am thinking of living/working in New York, but I heard that with my Chinese passport it's going to be difficult, what are the passes/processes I should aim for and go through in order to stay in the US? Thank a lot!

You need a visa to live in the U.S. Unless you have a close relative who is a US citizen or permanent resident, the only plausible approach is to find an employer in the US who wants to hire you and will sponsor you for a US visa. It's hard to get a US visa no matter what passport you have. Good luck!
