What is the best way to repair your credit?

All of my past credit history has dropped off and now I am faced with having no credit. I have heard jewelry store credit is the easiest to get, but I cant even get that. So, how can I get some credit to start re-building my credit.

Go to your bank and speak with the manager. Ask them to help you get a Visa or Mastercard with a low limit and no annual fee. If you have been a good bank customer with the account problems in the last couple of years, this shouldn't be asking for the moon.

First, stop trying for a year. A history of too many recent applications may be the reason that you cannot get anything now. Second, get a "secured" credit card. Many "secured" credit cards are available to individuals without any credit.

Another possibility is to join a credit union. They are much more forgiving when it comes to no credit or even less than perfect credit. Not to mention that their cc, loan & mortgage rates beat out any bank out there!!! A good credit union is your new best friend!
