What's a work permit and what's the appropriate age to start to work?
What's a work permit? I'm 12 years old and I want to know when it's appropriate to start to work, most say at the age 14, but then I started hear something about work permits. I live in California. And the work im interested in is working at stores like a sale clerk or a cashier, help broom, and fix the t-shirts. Or jobs like at a book stores, mainly cashier stuff or cleaning up. Stores as in the mall.
