Is Popular Culture a good career choice?

And overall, would this be a good career choice if I have a high interest in it?

You must enjoy whatever your choice is. Not a good idea to try to be something you are not going to be happy with. Go with something you like. That will make you a much happier person even if it makes less money. Later in life, your interests might change. They usually do.
